PS - Adult Attention Deficit Hyperactivity (ADHD) Diagnostic Assessment Service

Adult Attention Deficit Hyperactivity (ADHD) Diagnostic Assessment Service

At PeopleSense Psychology and Wellbeing by Altius, we recognise the increasing demand for Adult ADHD assessments and the impact of undiagnosed ADHD. Our psychologists have a wealth of experience in conducting assessments for various purposes.

What you'll get from an adult ADHD assessment:

  • Receive Clarity. If you’ve been experiencing emotional regulation difficulties, organisational challenges, or neurodivergent burnout, undertaking an assessment can provide clarity about your condition.
  • Targeted Support. Whether it’s medication, therapeutic assistance, or ADHD coaching, we tailor recommendations to your specific needs.
  • High-Quality Assessment. Our thorough assessment includes a full clinical interview, examination of your history, and evaluation of current symptoms. We also utilise psychometric tools to screen for ADHD and other mental health difficulties. The output is a high-quality assessment and a detailed report you can take to your psychiatrist or GP.
  • Feedback and Explanation. At the end of the assessment, we provide a feedback session. You’ll receive your report and a verbal explanation of the assessment results and recommendations.

While you don’t require a GP referral to engage in the assessment, we encourage involving your GP in the process. We accept referrals directly from individuals seeking diagnostic assessments, as well as from GPs and psychiatrists.

PS - Child Psychological Assessment Services

Child Psychological Assessment Services

At PeopleSense Psychology and Wellbeing by Altius, we understand the importance of assessing your child's psychological and developmental needs. Our experienced psychologists provide comprehensive assessments tailored to support your child's growth and wellbeing.

What you'll get from a child psychological assessment:

  • Insightful Information. Gain a clear understanding of your child's current level of functioning, identifying both strengths and areas needing support. Our assessments can also determine if a diagnosis, such as Anxiety, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Autism, or learning and behavioural disorders, is present.
  • Personalised Recommendations. We provide tailored recommendations to assist with your child’s development, learning, and behaviour. These may include strategies for home and school, therapeutic interventions, or further specialist referrals.
  • Thorough Assessment Process. The assessment begins with an initial parent interview to pinpoint key areas for further exploration. This may be followed by cognitive, academic, or neuropsychological assessments and observations, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of your child's needs.
  • Feedback and Guidance. Upon completion of the assessment, we offer a feedback session to discuss the results. You will receive a detailed report and a clear explanation of the findings and recommendations, helping you to support your child's development effectively.

You don’t need a GP referral to access our services, although we encourage collaboration with your GP or other healthcare professionals. We accept referrals directly from parents, as well as from GPs, teachers, and other specialists.
