YOUR NEW ROLE As a Senior Rehabilitation Consultant, you will play an instrumental role in facilitating the recovery and rehabilitation of clients in different compensable setting who have experienced work related injury, illness, or disability. Your clinical expertise and guidance will be pivotal in supporting clients  regain independence, improve their quality of life, and reintegrate into the community and the workforce.
Working from out Carlton office with a significant proportion of the role providing workplace based services and interventions:
 
The role will involve:

• Completion of comprehensive assessments and development of personalised rehabilitation plans that support a whole-of-person approach to rehabilitation
• Using lateral thinking and forward planning skills to identify potential return to work pathways in line with recovery milestones
• Utilisation of problem-solving skills, clinical experience, and knowledge of injury management to perform assessments and facilitate the return to work of clients
• You will work closely with a variety of stakeholders, including clients, , insurance companies, employers and other healthcare professionals to evaluate physical, psychological, and social factors
• Present case information to various stakeholders and providing credible recommendations/solutions to drive the desired goal
• Completing employer direct work within previous experience
• You will provide supervision, mentorship and guidance to more junior team members

 

• About you:
• Tertiary qualifications and full registration in one of the following disciplines: EP, OT, Rehab Counsellor, Psych, Physio
• Prior experience in Occupational rehabilitation (2 years)
• Driver's licence and car will be required for this role
