Your new role

As a Principal Psychologist at PeopleSense by Altius you will lead a team of Psychologists who deliver a range of clinical and organisational psychology focused services. Your role includes the following:

Team leadership

  • Oversee a small team of provisional, registered, and clinical psychologists.
  • Provide guidance, support & mentorship, assisting in performance management, career progression, and business operations.
Clinical expertship
  • Facilitate and participate in clinical supervision of client caseload as needed, ensuring the highest standard of care is delivered.
  • Undertake quality assurance activities to maintain and improve service delivery excellence.
Psychological service delivery
  • Provide psychological services to a caseload of clients and customers by delivering evidence-based interventions and therapeutic support, including:
    • Employee Assistance Program (EAP) counselling – offering services to a range of clients, including adults, children and adolescences and couples
    • Onsite and Critical Incident Attendance – support people at their workplace
    • Private / Medicare rebated counselling
    • Compensation Scheme Work – support our clients with pain related issues, injury adjustment and trauma from an acquired injury
    • Multidisciplinary Interventions – work in a multidisciplinary team to support client outcomes
    • Psychological Assessment  
This is a full time position based in Melbourne

About you
  • Psychologist with full registration with AHPRA (Australia Health Practitioner Regulation Agency) 
  • Experience leading a team or experience supporting psychologists is desired 
  • Full Australian working rights
  • Ability to obtain a national police check
  • A current driver's licence and a comprehensively insured vehicle
